Assassins Creed Odyssey: My Thoughts and Opinions

Image
With the announcement of the next Assassin's Creed game, Assassins Creed Valhalla. I decided to delve back into Ubisoft’s world of Assassins and secret societies and try out playing Odyssey. Now I don’t have the greatest of knowledge about the Assassins Creed universe since the last time I got the chance to play it was back when Revelations was released.

Artemis Fowl Review

Now I would like to start off this review with a disclaimer. I have not read the books, I didn’t have any preconceived expectations or notions on what this movie was about so what I say is only a comment on the movie as a single and separate entity.

Watch Dogs 2: My Thoughts Review

Now I know that I am very late to the party on this game, but I just finished playing Watch Dogs 2 for the first time and with no prior experience to the original game I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself and find myself wondering why there was so much criticism about it. It was a beautiful game that had a lot of love and a lot of amusing quirks added for an immersive experience. The things that I loved about Watch Dogs 2 is the open-world nature to the map. You didn’t have to play the main storyline if you didn’t want to, since you could drive around as you please, collecting bags of cash and solving puzzles by hacking for research points to build up your skill tree. There was plenty to do, plenty to see and you can interact with any NPC just walking around, or in some circumstances, they will randomly interact with you depending on what you are doing. Some of my best fun was harassing a random person on the street and having them get arrested because they assaulted ...

Two Brothers, A Quest and a Pair of Pants When I heard about this movie coming out, I admit I was both excited and sceptical about whether or not it would be good. I do love all things Disney, but when it comes to the different studios, none of Pixar’s movies are on top of my list of favourites. I was excited to once again see Tom Holland and Chris Pratt team up again since Avengers End Game but sceptical because of what seemed like a very D&D based story. Boy have I never been happier to be proven wrong.

Is Time to Put Frozen II Back on Ice?

When I sat down to watch Frozen II , I felt like there was a lot left to be desired throughout the movie. Now the movie is by no means unwatchable, in fact, I watched it at least three times before I wrote this review, just to make sure that my feelings hadn’t changed. But this lukewarm follow-up to the fantastic masterpiece that was Frozen back in 2013, lacked the love and effort that it was owed.  The story was weak and the plot predictable right from the first scene, where the first movie had a surprising and very touching story about the love of two sisters defying all difficulties. The sequel felt as if it was made so that Disney could squash people’s assumptions that Elsa (Idina Menzel) and  Anna’s (Kristen Bell) parents were neglectful and abusive. I often found the one huge saviour to this movie was the adorable and hilarious ramblings of Olaf (Josh Gad).
