Welcome to Neon Shadow, a blog dedicated to all things popular culture and gaming ranging from reviews and opinions to tips and interesting factoids with games and movies. This is a personal blog with me playing and watching things that generally interest me, but I am open to suggestions. I will give my honest and open opinion to anything and everything I see fit. 

Now that I have gotten the intro for the blog out of the way, it’s time to get to know me. My name is Meg and I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I’ve been a casual gamer since I was about 5, primarily on PlayStation and PC in the early years then moved to platforms such as Nintendo DS and Xbox. I have however been a diehard cinephile my whole life and I enjoy a wide variety of genres. 

It is from my love of writing and love of popular culture combined that I decided to mix the two and turn towards blogging. Whether there is anyone out there reading it or not, it doesn’t matter, it’s what I love.

Two Brothers, A Quest and a Pair of Pants When I heard about this movie coming out, I admit I was both excited and sceptical about whether or not it would be good. I do love all things Disney, but when it comes to the different studios, none of Pixar’s movies are on top of my list of favourites. I was excited to once again see Tom Holland and Chris Pratt team up again since Avengers End Game but sceptical because of what seemed like a very D&D based story. Watch Dogs 2: My Thoughts Review

Now I know that I am very late to the party on this game, but I just finished playing Watch Dogs 2 for the first time and with no prior experience to the original game I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself and find myself wondering why there was so much criticism about it. It was a beautiful game that had a lot of love and a lot of amusing quirks added for an immersive experience. The things that I loved about Watch Dogs 2 is the open-world nature to the map. You didn’t have to play the main storyline if you didn’t want to, since you could drive around as you please, collecting bags of cash and solving puzzles by hacking for research points to build up your skill tree. There was plenty to do, plenty to see and you can interact with any NPC just walking around, or in some circumstances, they will randomly interact with you depending on what you are doing.
